ILI-ILI / LITTLE ONE (2023)

DIR. CLISTER SANTOS

A heartfelt animation about a Filipino same-sex couple whose pregnant daughter wants to learn more about her dads’ journey becoming her parents. The interview takes a fateful turn, but it also becomes the catalyst of memories of a childhood full of precious memories and loving care. Evocative of home movies, the visuals were inspired by Filipino painter Fernando Amorsolo and  Ili-Ili from the title comes from a Filipino-Ilongo language lullaby called "Ili ili tulog anay" - go to sleep little one.

JARIPEO (2026)

Mexico, USA, France

dir. Efraín Mojica, Rebecca Zweig

A vibrantly evocative documentary about “jaripeos” or rural rodeos — a world of machos, performative masculinity, and queer desire in Michoacán, Mexico. 4K and Super8 footage blends a vividly sensual visual journey of desire, longing and memory in this candid portrait of hypermasculine fantasies and sobering realities. The myth of masculinity has rarely been this macho and queer at the same time.

TAXI MOTO (2026)

Switzerland, France  | Dir. Gaël Kamilindi

A filmmaker is denied funding for his film at the last minute because of its queer theme — a love story between two men. Unable to shoot in the original location (country), he reimagines it in a new place and with a new lead. As the project develops and reality merges with fiction, the film becomes an alluring visual exploration of intimacy, longing and love.
